Hello Leo

Your photos are brilliant, thanks for both your message and the photos.

Did you have a good journey? We want to know who Ronald, the man you met, is ! What sort of sports does he do in the games ?

Are you OK Leo? We have drawn you a beautiful flying saucer.

Are you going to bring back your friend the kangaroo?

We like you so much and we want to know if you are coming back soon.

A big hug for you Leo and for Ronald too.

Hello children,

Well there you are, Sydney is over ! I have to leave my friend Ronald because the olympics are finished now and he is coming home to France. Don't worry though, I will be in good hands with my new friends in the Australian school. That said, I am very sad just now, because I had such a wonderful time with Ronald and I got to meet lots of other athletes who were staying with us (David Douillet for example).

Concerning Ronald, he is a long jumper. He jumped 8m24, but sadly for him, in the qualifying rounds he ran aground. He got injured in the warm up of his race and wasn't operating at 100%. He jumped only 7m66, poor guy, but missed a great jump which would have got him into the final race. (8m00)

I'm keeping my kangaroo with me, I don't know when I am coming back to you

yet, it's really good here. :-)

So then, a big hug for all of you. See you soon.

Are you missing me ......

Love,

Leo

ps : here are some more photos that Ronald took of some of those specialmoments in the Olympic Games.

A big thank you to Ronald Servius for so graciously agreeing to accompany Leo and for sending us news. We will not forget, on our journey, to send him Leo's messages. So Leo leaves to meet up with the australian children along with his friend the kangaroo. We are impatiently waiting to receive more news !

Follow the kangaroo ...
