Hello :-)

Nikki and Josy here and their young pupils from the Cidemé Salvator Infant school in Pointe-à-Pitre Guadaloupe ..... Max landed safely with us at about 8 o'clock this morning ... His plane flight doesn't seem to have tired him much. He has put away his winter clothes, here he really won't need them. Instead we have given him a super swimming costume and a pareo.

The children were delighted to see him, they had looked forward to his arrival for so long, this morning we thought out some questions we could ask him about his life in the city in France and about our friends in La Roue Infant School.

The Ladybirds (Nikki's class), wanted to know what his parents were called and were very surprised to learn that Max himself was already the head of the family ! :-))

In the next few days we will look at his notebook and find out about his other journeys.

Also we will write to our friends at La Roue Infant School to tell them about Max's arrival, describe our island and how we celebrate Christmas. A lot of our habits and customs come from a long tradition.

A big hug for everyone

Josy and the butterflies

Hello to the children in Pointe-à-Pitre.

We received your message OK. We are glad to know that Max is with you and not lost.

We didn't reply straight away because we are very busy with preparations for Christmas and, according to our teacher, very excited.

We have lots of questions to ask you about yourselves and about Max. We will do it next week. A great big hug for everyone.

Could you send us your first names please.
Thanks.

The children in Anna's class.
